PETITION: Save Leckwith M&S!

M&S Leckwith

Several residents have contacted me to express concerns about the planned closure of the Marks & Spencer store at Leckwith.

Lots of people rely on the store, including the elderly and some of the most vulnerable in the community.

The store is of particular importance to those without access to a car. It can be easily accessed from Llandough by bus, and if it closes, the nearest M&S stores at Culverhouse Cross and Cardiff will not be as accessible.

I've therefore organised a petition to demonstrate the strength of feeling locally.

Please spare a few moments of your time to sign it.

If we show M&S there is strong demand for the store to stay, it will make business sense for them to keep it open.

George

Cllr George Carroll

We, the undersigned, call on Marks & Spencer to reverse their decision to close their store at Leckwith. The store provides vital services to residents of Llandough and neighbouring villages, especially those without access to a car.
