Pools

Commenting on the grave concerns raised about the future of public swimming pools in Wales, Welsh Conservative Russell George MS said:

“Swimming pools are key assets in communities because they allow people to keep active, fit and healthy, as well as developing and building positive relationships.

“Over the last year, COVID-19 has flipped society upside down, so this latest warning from swimming pools regarding their future should not come as a huge surprise.

“The Welsh Labour Government needs to jump into the deep end and provide all the necessary support to keep Wales’ swimming pools open and thriving for local communities.”
